Textbook Exchange

At the beginning of the semester, the traditional textbook exchange will again occur at the faculty. This event is for you if you are looking for new textbooks, lecture notes, or academic literature—or if you would like to offer books you no longer need.

Before you can participate as a seller or buyer, please read the Textbook Exchange Rules.

📅 When and where?
The exchange will take place in the faculty building, in the hallway in front of the library:

• Monday, September 29, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, September 30, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

👉 How to participate as a seller?

• Bring your textbooks or other literature to the BURZA UČEBNIC sales stand in the hallway in front of the library.
• Each student sets their own price, and the full proceeds go directly to them.
• Sales are cashless only, via QR codes. Sellers must attach a printed code with the pre-filled amount to each book. We recommend that you test the QR code in your banking app beforehand.
• If you don’t have access to a printer, you can print your QR codes in the library (with an active SUPO account and sufficient balance).

👉 If you are buying:

• Choose a book and pay the seller via the QR code.
• A cashier at the sales stand will oversee the transaction, making the process quick and straightforward.

📌 Important notes:

• Unsold books must be collected by sellers no later than Tuesday, September 30, at 2:00 p.m. in the library. Books not collected will be made freely available in the library from 2:15 p.m. without compensation.
• Neither the cashier nor the organizers are responsible for any delays, failures, or incomplete payments caused by the bank or the buyer. Responsibility for completing the transfer rests solely with the buyer and the seller.
• The printed record will include the UČO (student ID number) and the signatures of both seller and buyer. These details are used only in case of payment issues and will be destroyed after the exchange ends.
